Privacy Policy
In short: PreMinute Blog has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or location. Your bookmarks, notes and reading history stay on your device.
Who we are
PreMinute Blog ("the app", "we") is operated by Preminute Web & Design. You can reach us at preminute@gmail.com.
What stays on your device
The app saves the following only on your phone or in your browser. We never receive it:
- Bookmarks, reading history and your reading queue
- How far you have read each article
- Your private highlights and notes
- Articles you saved for offline reading
- Your settings (theme, language, text size) and which articles you have voted on
You can erase this at any time in Settings → Delete all my data, or by uninstalling the app or clearing your browser's site data. The list of articles you have voted on is kept when you delete data, so the same vote cannot be cast twice.
What goes to our servers
- Reading articles. The app loads articles from Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). Like any internet request, this lets Google process technical information such as your IP address and device or browser type.
- Voting (like / dislike). When you vote, the app signs you in anonymously. This creates a random user ID with no name or email attached. We store a vote record containing the article, whether it was a like or dislike, the time, and that random ID. This is how we stop one person voting many times. We cannot tell who you are from it.
Other services
- Google Firebase provides our database and anonymous sign-in. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Images in articles are loaded from Unsplash, which can see your IP address when an image loads. See Unsplash's Privacy Policy.
- Links inside articles open other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we do not control them.
- Sharing uses your phone's standard share menu. We do not see what you share or with whom.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not show ads or use advertising IDs.
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
- We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts or location.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Articles are for general information only. They are not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Speak to a qualified professional before making decisions about your health, money or legal matters.
Your choices and requests
Because we hold no account or personal profile, most of your data is already in your hands on your device. If you would like information about a vote record or want one removed, email us. We may ask for details such as the article and approximate time, because we cannot otherwise link a vote to you.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data (for example by adding notifications or ads), we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
